Our contribution to the CQ Thank You Corner, which will appear in the final issue of CQ, Vol. 45.1, coming out soon. So much learning and equal amounts of laughter!

So grateful to be managing another fascinating project with Bebe Miller Company. Being in a room with dedicated and passionate artists and arts supporters, talking about issues around documenting and archiving the creative process, is invigorating and inspiring.

Creativity abounds when you take an actual vacation! We named this new delicious drink created by mixologist Lawrence Picard at the Gaia River Lodge in Belize.

Can’t contain the excitement about being a founding co-producer of this new venture! Check out the (still-in-progress) website for a first glimpse of the inaugural Kicking & Screening: Live & Alone dance festival coming March 2020 to Providence, Rhode Island!

It’s absolutely inspiring to spend two weeks in a ballroom teeming with learning! We love our role in ensuring that this nationally-accredited program runs like clockwork. (The Feldenkrais Training Academy trains people to become Certified Feldenkrais Practitioners with the confidence and competence to build a successful practice in the Feldenkrais Method of somatic education.)

Thanks to On The Boards and Base: Experimental Arts + Space for presenting Morgan Thorson’s Still Life (2015) in Seattle, August 1-4, 2019. What a gorgeous space for a gorgeous piece. Check out some reactions to the performances here.

We are thrilled to be supporting Jeremy Nelson and Luis Lara Malavacías—2 Old Men—on their collaborative and individual choreographic and teaching projects. Lots of exciting things in the works—stay tuned!

Another Kickstarter campaign we managed has hit its goal, woot! We love helping to raise support for some very cool projects. Huge thanks to everyone who contributed to the new recording of Stephen Fandrich‘s “Iron Tears” with Gamelan Pacifica & Del Sol String Quartet.

“Merde!” to choreographer Lionel Popkin and his collaborators for the premiere of The Oedipus/Antigone Project, opening tonight at The Getty Villa in Los Angeles! Exploring exile and contemporary notions of homeland, this evening-length performance follows a journey of two outcasts looking for a way out of horrific circumstances, trying to maintain a sense of self while acknowledging that the gods are not on their side. D+B has loved working with Lionel on grant-writing for this project.
